Spring greetings! On Saturday May 13 from 2:00-4:00 pm, KMR Arts is hosting an Open House to mark the final two weeks of my show “Liminal Realities” in Washington Depot, CT. In the course of this show, Telly and I moved to the area, so we look forward to seeing old and new friends at the gallery. The show continues through May 27.

My fourth solo exhibition at KMR Arts, “Liminal Realities”, opens on Nov. 19th from 3:00 – 6:00 in Washington Depot, CT. The work explores the convergence of realism and abstraction in lens-based art, with enigmatic photographs that document physical facts shrouded by mystery. The show continues through December 30.

In a return to my figurative photography roots, “Dry Lake Dance” will be included in the upcoming show “Heat and Light” at the Century Association in New York City, running from June 9 – September 15. Following this show, the work will be part of the Take Home a Nude auction benefiting the New York Academy of Art, occurring October 25th in NYC.

I’m excited to be included in this groundbreaking show at Friesen + Lantz, their introductory exhibit of NFT’s, and my first purely digital artwork. Working with moving images has been a desire for for quite a while, and I look forward to creating more. This piece, Kymatismos, is an edition of 5 and now the splash page on my update website.

Quogue Gallery in Quogue, NY presents “Beyond the Sea”, a solo exhibition of new work opening August 27 from 5:00 to 7:00, with an Artist Talk at 6:00. The show runs through September 30.

Friesen Gallery in Sun Valley, ID presents “Upon Further Reflection”, a solo show opening Friday, September 3 from 5:00 – 7:30 pm. The work presents a fresh prospecting on my water imagery following experimentation with a variety of new mediums, processes, and techniques during isolation.

I’m honored to be included in Stay Inspired, a National Book Award gold medal winner. The thought-provoking pairing of artwork and poetry was created as a response to the global pandemic, and its first printing sold out in a matter of weeks. The reprinted edition is now available. 

This body of new work being presented by KMR Arts in Washington Depot, CT was created while shelter-in-place. The Artist Reception on June 6, 4-7 pm, will be outside on the gallery lawn to allow for social distancing, and only three people at a time will be allowed in the gallery, wearing masks to comply with local regulations. The show continues through July 11.

Friesen Gallery presents “Love Letter“, a solo exhibition featuring two new bodies of work, Urban Tableaux and Classics Revisited. The show is up through March 15 and the e-catalog can be viewed here.
