Greek Vogue story about my new work and its origins in Greece.
During the summer of 2011 in Greece, I started noticing and documenting unusual reflections in the water which occurred in certain conditions. The motion of the water created distorted the reflections, and my camera froze the movement, capturing abstracted images in a split-second.
Welcome to my blog! Starting with my first camera and darkroom in 1974, I’ve been entrenched in the world of B&W representational photography, captured on Tri-X film. Here begins my pursuit of the polar opposite — pixels capturing abstraction and color.
